We have a modern bunkhouse with 12 bunk pods and 1 kingsize double bed. There are huge comfy sofas, a woodburning stove, small kitchen pod, large table and table tennis downstairs. There is also a slide to get you downstairs.
The bunkhouse is located in a recently converted Welsh Baptist Chapel and downstairs is the home of Wye Valley Canoes. The Canoe Centre offers kayaks, canoes and double kayaks to paddle downstream to Hay-on-Wye, to the pub or you can paddle off for days. We come and collect you and return you to Glasbury.
Across the boatyard is The River Café, a great café/restaurant which is an informal place to gather and to enjoy fresh food cooked daily. In the summer you can eat outside on a large decking area overlooking the river.
We also hire mountain bikes.
Both the bikes and the canoes can be guided or unguided. Email us for details!
