Alstonville Country Cottages are comprised of eight self contained cottages nestled in a valley overlooking spectacular ocean and country views. We as hosts live on the property and take great pride in sharing the country experience with each guest. Farm animals are an important part of our family and we encourage guests to interact with them. We encourage feeding the chickens and collecting eggs; our pony and donkey enjoy the company of children as well as Sam our friendly cattle dog. A 1.5 km walk down to Duck Creek is a must for those who enjoy the natural beauty of the Big Scrub forest that once encompassed this entire region. A chance to encounter wallabies, monitors and a myriad of bird life. The creek is a refreshing break to the sounds of city life as you sit and let the pristine water flow through your feet. Our wood fired pizza oven is always a hit for our guests and makes for a leisurely social afternoon tending to the the oven and pizzas. A 12 metre swimming pool and lounge chairs provides a place to soak up the sun and have a dip or a few laps. Perfect for a family reunion, wedding accommodation or just a couples retreat. We love it here, we know guests will too.
