Briardale, Albury’s finest Bed and Breakfast, offers traditional, fully hosted accommodation. Guests have secure on-site parking, private entry, Parlour and Dining Room and free wifi. Located in a quiet and tranquil part of Albury, Briardale is the ideal hub for exploring our historic city and surrounding area. Our home is situated on the original Briardale Orchard grounds established in 1919 by the Heathwood family and offers views over the now cleared orchard area, where mass replanting of eucalypt, acacia and other species native to this area has taken place, which has re-introduced the local bird life. This is a lovely place to wander, especially along the untouched Bungambrawatha Creek which winds its way through the park.
Albury, situated on the north side of the Murray River which is the border of Victoria and New South Wales, is blessed with a unique climate - we have four very distinct seasons, with Summer being dry and hot, whilst being close to some of the best snow fields in Australia, Winter can be very chilly with heavy early morning frosts. Autumn is our favourite season with cooler nights and beautiful fine days, adding delightful colour changes to our trees and shrubs, many of which were established by Mabel & Ned Griffiths, the second owners of Briardale, in 1948. On the arrival of Spring, our tranquil and secluded gardens unfold to a wonderful array of colour and fragrances.

Briardale is a short 1.5km walk to major shopping centres, two hotels, numerous cafes & restaurants, with Albury Commercial Golf Club close by as is North Albury Sports Club. Thurgoona Golf Club is a short 9km drive east. The centre of Albury is 5km. Wodonga, located to the south of Albury across the Murray River, is a 15 minute drive.
