FIVE BARS OVER TWO LEVELS, AT ONE VENUE IN THE ROCKS

There’s no question that The Rocks is home to some of Sydney’s most intriguing historical stories. And our landmark venue, The Argyle, has a unique, rich history all of its own. The sandstone walls that house The Argyle had seen some interesting sights well before we all hit the dance floor. Situated in one of Australia’s oldest buildings, The Argyle is richly historic, while maintaining a uniquely modern take. With five bars held over two levels, we have a variety of areas to suit any mood. Whether you choose to hide away in a booth, gather friends around the high tables, chill out in the lounges or venture in to the open-air cobbled courtyard – the choice is yours. With capacity for up to 1800 guests, it’s also the ideal location for large-scale events and celebrations.

THE FOOD

By day, a casual bite to eat can be enjoyed throughout the venue. Our Canteen serves up our specialty wood fired pizzas, share plates, burgers and so much more. If you arrive at 11am, you might be tempted by our breakfast pizzas (how does a pizza of avocado, egg, potato and white onion sound?), right through to our late night temptations, like dipped donuts with cinnamon sugar and Nutella.

NIGHTLIFE

At night, The Argyle is in its finest form, coming alive with resident DJs and musicians serving up nu-disco and uplifting house beats. And when it comes to drinks, you’re spoilt for choice. From speciality wines and boutique beers, through to cocktails invented by our talented Bar team, there’ll be a satisfying drop to wet your whistle.
