Situated in the quiet rural sugar cane farming area yet only a short distance from major tourism attractions, shopping centres, beaches, gold coast hinterland and function centres and industrial areas for those not fortunate to be on holidays!
Catering for holiday makers, business people, workers or even locals wanting a break. Our rooms are welcoming and inviting and can sleep from 1 person to 7, with all the mod cons you require for a cup of coffee to a quick and simple meal. Reverse cycle air conditioners keep you comfortable all year around, not that it is normally needed with our lovely breezes filtering through the louvres.
Once you are here it is hard to believe you are in the middle of two major Queensland travel destinations. You would swear you were in a small country town in the outback.
Depending on your timing there is often damper on offer, cooked fresh on the coals. The outstation (entertainment area) is a comfortable spot to share and relax with friends. It recently survived the flood and if the walls could talk there would be some stories to tell.
We rescued Debbie in the recent floods, kayaking her to safety and spending hours with her restoring her to her former self after spending all night trapped in a fence with only her head out of the water. She has visited and continues to visit as do the rest of the Kangaroos.
So come and visit and stay, meet Albert and Logan and hopefully the Kangaroos that live in the area will visit as well.
