Watersports, on the beachfront in Torquay, Hervey Bay, you will begin the tour exploring the waters of Hervey Bay and the surrounding Great
Sandy Strait where you are likely to encounter local marine wildlife such as turtles, dolphins and even the elusive dugong. Your first stop will be
at the award winning Kingfisher Bay Resort located on Fraser Island, which provides the perfect location for a delicious morning tea. You will
cruise north along the island’s beautiful west coast, enjoying the stunning scenery and native wildlife before arriving at Fraser Island’s Moon Point.
From Moon Point, you will travel to the pristine Pelican Banks, which provides superb sheltered waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. From Pelican Banks, you will cruise back to Aquavue Café Watersports.
On returning to Aquavue Café Watersports, our friendly team in our beachfront Café will serve a delicious lunch catering for any dietary requirements you may have.
Fraser Island Jetski Safari:
The Fraser Island Jetski Safari offers guests a truly unique way of experiencing the icon that is Fraser Island. Your trip starts at Aquavue Café Watersports, located on the beach in Torquay, Hervey Bay, where you will be given a thorough safety briefing on how to operate one of our Jetskis. Once on the water, you are likely to see a variety of marine wildlife, including turtles, dolphins and possibly dugongs, on your way to your first stop at the award winning Kingfisher Bay Resort on the west coast of Fraser Island. From Kingfisher Bar Resort, you will travel along the visually stunning west coast of Fraser Island, until you arrive at Moon Point, where you will explore parts of the largest sand island in the world. You will then make your way through the pristine Great Sandy Strait on your return journey to Aquavue Café Watersports.
Moon Point Scenic Tour:
Moon Point, located on the World Heritage listed Fraser Island, is a truly breathtaking section of beach situated on the west coast of Fraser Island. On a Moon Point Scenic Tour with Aquavue Café Watersports, you will be one of the few who get the opportunity to explore this spectacular section of the island. Departing from Aquavue Café Watersports in Hervey Bay, one of our expert guides will accompany you on a tour exploring Hervey Bay waters and the surrounding Great Sandy Strait, before arriving to explore the iconic Fraser Island at Moon Point. You will then possibly come up close and personal with marine wildlife on your return journey to Aquavue Café Watersports, potentially encountering turtles, dolphins and dugongs whilst on the water.
