Located in some of the most scenic areas of Queensland, the Flaxton Barn is situated on the main tourist route of the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland Blackall Ranges. The Barn with it's curious piggy propped on the rail outside, has been operating since 1969 providing many tourists and locals a genuine country experience. Enjoy the delights of the country café on the covered outdoor deck which overlooks the beautiful ranges and lush flowering gardens. A peaceful place where you can relax and soak up your surroundings over smooth rich coffee or teas with family and friends. Fresh scones come from the kitchen oven every day, served with freshly whipped cream and strawberry jam, the Barn scones are rated as the best on the Range by our customers. Or why not enjoy Granny's famous Apple Pie, a long time favourite. All meals and cakes are made each day by our skilled and friendly café staff and you can be assured we use only the best whole ingredients sourced from our local suppliers.

When you are leaving be sure to pick up a pack of our coffee for your family to enjoy or perhaps some fresh chai tea and chutney, all locally made on the Sunshine Coast.

Your relaxing experience is complimented with a little shopping for gifts, homewares, trinkets, books, bags, jewellery or something of yesteryear. The Barn houses an eclectic range of beautiful goods and quirky giftware as well as antiques, bric-a-brac and old antique phones. You never know what you might find to delight your senses.

Our Cellar Door offers free wine tasting, so pick up a special bottle of wine or port made from the local vineyard.

The Café seats up to 60 people and with easy front door parking is ideal for groups, tour buses and those celebrating with friends and family. Bookings are made easy on our website or by phoning the shop, special occasion bookings are a favourite with locals, tour groups and social clubs.
