Open daily with free admission the iconic Ginger Factory is one of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular tourist attractions. Just one minute of the Bruce Highway, the Ginger Factory has been described as the hidden gem of the Sunshine Coast.
The park features great shopping facilities, modern dining, educational tours, fun rides, regular school holiday entertainment, an undercover playground, free WiFi, and is surrounded by acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens and walks.

Discover the story of ginger from paddock to plate on the Factory Tour and see how and why Buderim Ginger has the World’s Finest Ginger. This very popular session demonstrates how ginger is grown through to the entire manufacturing process, culminating in a delicious finale where you can taste a range of ginger inspired treats.
The second tour is where you will get a real buzz with the SuperBee Live Bee Show. Get up close with honeybees as they industriously go about their business of making honey. Watch our beekeeper open up a living hive and learn about this fascinating world and the importance bees play in nature. The show finishes with delicious honey tastings in the honey shop.
When you take a ride on ‘Moreton’, our 115 year old authentic sugar cane train, you will learn about the history of Yandina and the local ginger industry. Riding on board the open-air carriages is one of the Ginger Factory’s most popular attractions and it’s a wonderful way to relax and take in the sights of the park.
Board your very own life boat on the Overboard boat ride, then sit back and enjoy the gentle ride as you follow the Gingerbread Man around the world as he tries to escape the clutches of two very hungry chefs. During his adventure, you will be mesmerised by over 250 handmade moving puppets!

The Ginger Café, which has an ever changing menu, features the region’s best produce and is where you'll find our signature homemade ginger scones served with fresh whipped cream and Buderim Ginger Marmalade. The Ice Creamery is where you can indulge in a delicious range of mouth-watering flavours that are freshly churned on site or go all out with one of our famous parfaits!

The Ginger Factory is well known for beautiful sub-tropical gardens. Bursting with colour and acres of exotic plant-life, take the opportunity to enjoy a stroll through the park and marvel at the beautiful water features and stunning natural beauty. You can even take home a piece of paradise with a selection of exquisite ginger and heliconia plants available from the retail shop.
The Ginger Factory is also home to an electric variety of boutique shops where you can immerse yourself in the heritage-style village of Ginger Town.
