Hop On Brewery Tours is the original Queensland craft brewery tour. Come with us for the chance to visit local craft breweries in and around Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Mt Tamborine and Ipswich, where you get to tour behind the scenes, see how beer is made, meet the brewers, ask questions, enjoy tastings and lunch, and make new friends!
Our focus is beer education and appreciation. With the surge of craft breweries in the state we want to take people on a journey, both craft beer lovers as well as those who don't know the difference between a lager and an IPA, and introduce them to the depth of flavour, the time and creativity, and the overall process of brewing great beers. By supporting small, local business we are able to help them thrive and get people drinking better beer, all at the same time!
We offer half and full day tour options, with the half day running approx. 4 hours and visiting 2 breweries and a craft beer bar (tasters and a schooner included) and the full day running roughly 6 hours visiting 3 breweries and a cool pub for lunch and a cold beer. All of our tours also include snacks and water for the drive, beer history, a guided brewery tour at one of the facilities, witty commentary and transportation in an air conditioned van. We encourage takeaway purchases (but no drinking on the van) to be enjoyed at home, and are happy to drop people at one of our partner pubs at the end of the tour so they can keep the night rolling. Pick up is at designated points and times depending on which tour is operating.
