We have a small b&b , very close to the beach.
Two double en suite rooms, and the use of the court yard, the garden and a large swimming pool.
The beach is just across the road,along a path through the last strip of remaining rain forest.
Going to town, you can use the shuttle bus, or , if you like, you can walk across the lovely four mile beach into Port Douglas , that takes about an hour.
You will pass the kite surfers , the locals walking their dogs, cyclists and fishers.... not many tourists, on this end.
But that changes at the end of the beach, there are beach chairs, life savers and.. the town, with all its lovely restaurants, shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafe s , markets ( on Sundays and Wednesdays) and the marina with all the activities on boats, dingies, yachts ....

The Beach Shack is a lovely restaurant, only 5 minutes ' walk away, if you like to stay close to home.
The tourist operators are happy to pick you up from our place, so you can do without a car.

We offer a vegetarian breakfast, with the best tropical fruit in season, breads, muesli, home made yoghurt.
And, of course, freshly made tea or coffee , orange juice.
We are very happy to help you find the tours and trips that you like best, or give you all the information for self drive trips.
