The award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park is a 100 acre (40-hectare) tourist attraction located in the middle of Kuranda’s World Heritage Rainforest. Part of The CaPTA Group, the locally owned and operated park offers three unique experiences to visitors.

Board an amphibious World War II Army Duck for a land and water adventure through the rainforest, as your guide identifies and explains fascinating wildlife and plants, then visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard, containing over 40 species of exotic tropical fruit trees.

Learn about indigenous culture and take part in the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Show and Dreamtime Walk, including traditional dance performances, spear and boomerang throwing, and didgeridoo playing.

The Koala & Wildlife Park has native Australian species including dingoes, wombats, lizards, snakes, cassowary, Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo and Tasmanian Devils. You can hand feed kangaroos and wallabies, or get your photo taken with a cuddly koala or even a small crocodile if you dare!

Rainforestation offers a sumptuous buffet lunch with a range of options available or you can visit the Tropical Treats Juice Bar for fruit, ice cream and fresh juice.
