Live History brings history to life using our skills as writers and actors. Our iconic performance, Her Story, tells the tale of a young convict woman, Mary James and her time at the notorious Cascades Female Factory. Told in Strolling Theatre, the audience follow the two actors around Yard One as life in the prison is enacted in compelling scenes. At times the audience are also involved as they become convicts too.
Her Story combines, information and entertainment in one, forty five minute, performance which leaves visitors emotionally engaged in a story they will long remember.
