THE BOATHOUSE

The Boathouse cottage is situated at 589 Esperance Coast Road in scenic Desolation Bay, in the Far South of Tasmania, with absolute water frontage and estuary views. There is a mooring in the bay, nearby launching ramp, and use of 2 kayaks.

The Boathouse accommodates two persons in a double bed plus a double futon. It is equipped for self-catering with light kitchen
facilities including Fridge, Microwave, Electric frypan, Kettle, Toaster, BBQ, Reverse-cycle air-conditioner, Electric blankets, Colour TV,
DVD, WiFi connection to NBN, Clock-radio, Hair dryer, etc.

Conveniently located midway between Geeveston and Dover, just before Police Point. One hour’s drive south of Hobart (80 km) along the scenic Esperance Coast Road. It is the ideal base to visit the spectacular Tahune Forest Airwalk, Hartz Mountains National Park, South West Wilderness, Hastings Caves & Thermal Pool, and the Ida Bay Railway are some of the many attractions this region offers.
