The Salamanca Wharf Hotel is a contemporary, boutique, self-contained apartment hotel offering visitors ultimate comfort and convenience within one of the oldest and most beautiful precincts in Tasmania. Situated only a few metres from Hobart’s waterfront, fronting Castray Esplanade and backing onto the historic and famous Salamanca Place, you really couldn’t choose a better spot to drop anchor in Hobart.
The hotel offers free wifi, Foxtel movies and sport and free parking, with a selection of beautifully appointed studios, premium one-bedroom apartments and loft penthouses to choose from. The Salamanca Wharf Hotel offers travellers who want the convenience of an apartment hotel, a luxurious alternative.
All of our three room types are fully self-contained apartments with fully equipped kitchenettes, and most rooms also offering laundry facilities. Our Loft Penthouses also all offer either a spa bath or a super soaker bath, as well as King size beds. Our Premium apartments come with either a queen or king bed and some have spa baths. An additional roll-away bed or portacot can be added into our Premium Apartments or our Loft Penthouses to cater for a third person. We also have several interconnecting rooms, if a family wishes to book more than one apartment.
Our reception is open on week days from 8am until 6pm, on Saturdays from 8.30am until 6pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 8.30am until 5pm. If you plan to arrive at the hotel outside of reception hours, please contact the hotel in advance to receive your late arrival instructions which will provide you access to the hotel and your room.
