The landscape Arboretum is open daily 9am to sunset. Our plant collections are grouped in floristic regions covering the temperate world including Southern Hemisphere rainforest plants and conifers. There are also natural and cultural features on the limestone geology. Over 60 bird species have been recorded on site and platypus and echidnas can be seen in the daytime.
Allow about an hour to walking around the site but if you wish bring a picnic lunch or use our bbq's and stay most of the day.
Entry is free for children but for adults it is $5.00.
Yes we have toilets, rotundas with electric bbq's operated by $A coins, an internal road for those who are elderly or have disabilities and cannot walk the distance [1.8km] and from October to May the Tree Park Kiosk operates from 11AM to 4PM, offering light refreshments, including fabulous ice-cream, and some mementos.
If you wish to experience a moment in a peaceful landscape in the countryside we are it but if you wanted an interpretive guided tour please contact us in advance of your planned visit. Free spirits will find a Visitor Guide Map, Interpretation Panels and many plants with their botanical name on a stake near to it.
Unfortunately there is no public transport to us, but there are taxis and local tour companies. We have ample free parking but keep in mind the gates are closed at sunset.
