A 66ha landscape arboretum with collections of trees and shrubs from the temperate world. In particular Tasmanian plants, Southern Hemisphere Conifers and plants descended from the flora of Gondwana.
There is also a Landscape Heritage Walk shown on the Guide Map.
Platypus and other wildlife may be seen on Founders' Lake but as they are all wild animals a sighting cannot be guaranteed.
Bird watchers could also be pleasantly surprised as over 60 species visit.
We are open daily from 9am to sunset.
Entry $5.00 per adult, children free.
There are coin operated bbq's or the Tree Park Kiosk opens on the 1st of October until the end of May from 11am to 4pm every day.
Elderly or those with disabilities may drive or be driven around the internal road, Sylvan Circuit.
