Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park is located on the banks of Lake Sambell and is only minutes away from the centre of Historic Beechworth in North East Victoria.
The caravan park offers shaded powered sites or un-powered camping, 16 ensuite cabins catering for all budgets and 3 on-site caravans. It boasts a very clean amenities block, laundry, clothes dryer and baby bath, under cover BBQ areas, playground, mini golf, volleyball court, LPG and a well-stocked kiosk. Pets are accepted in guests own caravans and tents throughout the year, with the exception of the Christmas and Easter breaks.
A personalised approach is how this park operates. Dedicated staff escort caravanners to their site and provide assistance where required to get the van on site easily. The kids are catered for with trailer rides, treasure hunts, craft activities and outdoor movies conducted throughout the school holidays.
The park provides access to many walking trails including the walk to Lake Kerford, the path around Lake Sambell and is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of historic Beechworth. You can also enjoy other recreational activities such as bike riding around town, along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail or fishing and swimming in the lake. Take advantage of our on-site recreational activities and hire yourself a canoe or kayak to explore Lake Sambell, or a mountain bike to ride the trails.
Campfires are permitted in the park; we provide movable fire-bins and firewood to allow your own personal campfire at your site.
