Lake Wendouree Luxury Apartments on Webster St are 6 beautifully renovated, self-contained apartments situated just a moments’ walk from the shores of Lake Wendouree.
Each apartment is individually decorated and at 110sqm provide a spacious “home away from home” in which to base yourself while visiting Ballarat for work or play.
All apartments come with 2 queen size beds plus an additional bed for a 5th person should you require (surcharge applies). The living area comes with heating/air-conditioning and seating for all guests along 55 inch plasma TV’s in the lounge and FREE high speed wifi allowing guests to work or relax while sharing pictures with all their friends on Instagram. Don’t forget to tag us so we can see what you have been up to.
The full kitchen has everything you will need and we have even added a few items that you might have forgotten such as salt and pepper, glad wrap, tinfoil and spray oil. Each apartment comes with its own washing machine and drying facilities.
Ground floor apartments have a small courtyard suitable for dogs. Pets are permitted in these 3 apartments by prior written request only.
Onsite parking is provided free of charge for one car and street parking is available for further cars.
The apartments are situated a few minutes’ drive or 20 minutes’ walk from Ballarat city centre.
The Webster St Heritage Precinct was actively mined for gold during the rush of the 1850’s. If you were standing on the street back then, you would have seen not only miners but hoteliers, miners, storekeepers, washerwomen and children of all nationalities and backgrounds with one common goal, to make a fortune either on or off the goldfields. The largest nugget found weighed 22 ounces.
Today Webster St is home to some of Victoria’s most beautiful homes with houses dating from the 1860’s to 1940’s and as such, you may have spotted it in The Dr Blake Mysteries.
Webster St links the city of Ballarat with Lake Wendouree. As a man-made lake, and former host of the rowing and canoeing for the 1956 Olympics, Lake Wendouree has so much to offer. A 6km lap of the lake encompasses amazing kids play areas, the Ballarat Tramway Museum which operates on weekends and over summer, the Botanical Gardens, a chance to watch some canoeing or sailing, a meal in Racers Café (our guests enjoy a 10% discount) and the Webster St heritage precinct, home of some of Victoria’s finest housing dating from the early 1860’s to the 1940’s. The path is perfect for pushchairs, bikes or runners wishing to keep up their fitness.
