The establishment of Sandalford Wines in 1840 coincided with both the first European settlement at the Colony of Perth and birth of Western Australia's world famous wine industry.

Located on the banks of the Swan River and founded in 1840, Sandalford Wines is a must visit winery, positioned at the forefront of wine tourism in Australia. In 2017, we are extremely proud to be one of the country's oldest and largest family owned winemakers. Proprietors Peter and Debra Prendiville acquired Sandalford in 1991, together they formulated a plan to revitalise the 151 year old icon brand, spending millions of dollars redeveloping the company’s facilities. Their vision of ‘a wine company that not only produces wines of excellence but also has the perfect synergy of wine combined with tourism’, has now come to fruition.

The key objective for Sandalford Wines is to produce outstanding premium and super premium wines. At the same time, Sandalford has a vision to provide local, interstate and overseas tourists to Perth with a ‘must’ visit destination to Sandalford’s Swan Valley operations, and to provide them with a truly world class wine tourism, education and hospitality experience.

Sandalford Estate in the Swan Valley today “house” diverse operations including a Vineyard, Winery, Administration, F&B and Tourism operations (Cellar Door and Gift Emporium, a la carte Restaurant, landscaped gardens), and is also a venue for major outdoor concerts for up to 16,000 people per event (past musicians include Neil Diamond, Michael Buble, The Ten Tenors, kd Lang, Leonard Cohen, Tom Jones, Santana, Sting, Lionel Ritchie, Ronan Keating, Alicia Keys amongst many others).
