Begin your fun-filled and informative day at 07.00am when you are picked up from one of four convenient city locations by one of Australia’s most enthusiastic and experienced tour guides. After a brief introduction, it's time to head north.
First stop is the beautiful native Eucalyptus bushland within Yanchep National Park where you will get to sample bush tucker, try the didgeridoo and gain some insight into the local Aboriginal culture - the oldest surviving culture on Earth.
Yanchep is home to kangaroos, koalas, pink and grey galahs, lorikeets, kookaburras and many native Australian animals. You will have plenty of time to photograph these unique Australian icons and learn some interesting facts, as you walk around the park.
Next is the thrill and action of sand-boarding down some amazing white sand-dunes near the little coastal town of Lancelin. This is an exhilarating optional activity at no extra cost but, whether you gain legendary sand-boarding status* or not, the huge dunes and coastal scenery are spectacular to behold.
Relax beside the magnificent Indian Ocean, play Frisbee or go for a swim, then enjoy a wholesome buffet picnic lunch of cold meat, fresh bread, a variety of salad vegetables and loads of tasty toppings. (Special diets catered for if requested prior to departure). No one goes hungry.
After a short drive along the most scenic section of the Indian Ocean Drive, the tour reaches the Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles Desert.
Here your guide will take the group for a short walk amongst the unique and interestingly-shaped ‘’Pinnacles”, explain their creation and ensure you get plenty of time to enjoy the serenity.
After a visit to the Pinnacles Discovery Centre it is time for the drive home and some time to reflect on your magical day.
