Hello I am Craig Rome of CanNZ Tours offering day and half day tours in Christchurch and around the South Island for English speaking as well as Japanese guests. I have been guiding here for 21 years. Emphasis on flexibility with itineraries to make the best of our weather and can offer homestay in my home as this can enhance your flexibility.
CanNZ Tours is my small travel company catering for the needs of the discerning independent traveller who wishes to enjoy the outdoor life and scenery of the South Island of New Zealand.
Originally I migrated here to manage dairy farms, subsequently managing hotels and latterly owned a thriving coffee shop bakery in Christchurch before living in Japan for 5 years.I am a 61 years old Scottish born Kiwi who speaks and writes fluent Japanese. Tour guiding for 21 years. I provide a variety of day trips: Kaikoura for whale watching or Swim with Dolphins, Akaroa Nature Cruise tour and Dolphin Swimming , Hanmer Springs, Tranz Alpine, Aoraki Mount Cook. Half day tours: Christchurch sights, Prize Winning gardens, wineries, home dinner and night view, golf, ski or hiking. I prepare delicious picnics with produce grown in my organic garden and glasshouse. Transport is laid on in my comfortable and fully licensed 2012 Toyota 7 seater touring van .
