A Clean, relaxed, hostel with a great outdoor area Turtle Cove Backpackers has a variety of bed options, all with hotel quality mattresses, and all with bed linen supplied.
Communal bathrooms have separate male/female facilities and their outside cabins have their own small ablution block with showers and toilets.
They have a good sized well equipt communal Kitchen/dining and cosy lounge area with digital TV and Freeview and plenty of videos and DVDs for that rainy day.
They supply FREE unlimited Wifi and a FREE lite self-serve breakfast of cereals, bread etc. daily from 7am to 10am in the communal kitchen.
Turtlecove is only a 3min walk to either the supermarket or main street of town, and 10min walk to Buffalo Beach, Whitianga's main beach. It is also only 30min by vehicle to Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Shakespeare Cliff and Purangi Winery. (Tours can be arranged through the Isite for those without vehicles).
All buses stop at our gate: Naked Bus/Inter City/Go Kiwi.
To book Naked Bus look for "Whitianga naked sleep", for Inter-city bus search more stops and Turtlecove. and Go Kiwi buses stop at our door so look for Turtlecove when making your bus booking.
Must be 18+ to stay in mixed dorm rooms.
