Our Bay of Islands Nature Cruise starts with a Cruise along our local coastline & up a meandering river that in days gone by sailing ships used to load up Kauri Logs, we explore these calm waters while getting to know our local area’s history, culture & learn about the ecology of the area. We cruise through mangrove forests & under colonies of seabirds that nest on trees hanging over the river.
Guests now transfer to Paddleboards & are taught how to paddleboard by our experienced Paddleboard Instructors in calm waters. After completing our training, the more adventurous have the opportunity to take a photo standing face to face with a roaring waterfall or paddling in foaming white water!
