Since 1988 Coastal Kayakers has been offering guided tours of the historic Waitangi River, Haruru Falls and the crystal clear waters of the Bay of Islands.

Guided Tours
Choose from one of our half day guided tours, each one covering a different part of the beautiful Bay of Islands, either Waitangi Coastline, Motumaire Island or Haruru Falls, all half days include local history and Maori legends, interperation, light refreshments, free tour photos and no experience required.
Or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous try a full day guided tour which covers the coastal waters of the Bay of Islands and Haruru Falls, the full day tour includes light refreshments, lunch, local history and Maori legends, interpritation, free tour photos and an opportunity for a swim/snorkel. Full Day options cater for all levels of experience and desire for adventure with a medium level of fitness

Haruru Falls One Way Paddle
Either, walk up the astounding track to the Haruru Falls, which includes a boardwalk through a mangrove forest, then paddle back down the Waitangi River, or do the reverse, paddle up and walk down.

Kayak/SUP Hire
If you want to explore the Bay of Islands at your own pace come hire a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard, we will go through points of interests and help you organise your trip.
