Appellation Central Wine Tours are a small group, award winning company with a passion for our visitors, the wine region and Central Otago.
The aim of our tours is to take people far from Queenstown’s adrenaline attractions to the quieter parts of the region. There they can immerse their guests in the culture of fine wine, quality food and beautiful open spaces - a side of Queenstown that people often miss on a short visit.
Our guides have extensive knowledge of the local region and the wine that comes from it which adds value to the whole tour experience. Guests are treated like VIP's with assigned winery guides, up-close and personal vine viewings, and tastings held inside wine caves. Clients will learn how wine is crafted, what makes it so special and get to taste a range from the winemaker's collection.

- Visiting 5 vineyards in Gibbston, Cromwell and Bannockburn
- A delightful gourmet vineyard platter lunch

- A tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave
- Tasting local cheeses at a local vineyard
- Visit Old Cromwell Town and the must-see Arrowtown
