Situated right on the Whitianga beachfront, on east coast of the Coromandel Pennisular, The Oceanside Motel is a 9 unit motel with every unit having amazing sea views. Just a short 10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars we are handily placed for those guests who want to get up and "do it" or simply lazy around and take it slowly. We have kayaks available for our guests to use, or cross the road to swim in one of New Zealand's safest beaches, and/or we can book you on Sea Cave Adventures which we run out of our motel (see separate listing). We also have E - Bikes for hire, a novel way of getting around the Mercury Bay area. We are the closest motel to The Lost Springs, Whitianga's own thermal wonderland and spa (tickets available at the front desk). Grab a spade and a beach towel from reception, head out to Hot Water Beach and find the hot springs right on the beach. Call into Cathedral Cove on the way back. Whether you choose a one bedroom unit, deluxe unit or one of our stunning upstairs executive suites you'll be most welcome here and are sure to enjoy your stay.
