The Pointon Collection is a private museum of mostly vintage cars & motorcycles, displayed as an antique garage with all the associated garage gear - automobilia, signs, pumps, bottles, tools etc - plus changing displays of original clothing with mannequins displayed to portray different eras. Much of the memorabilia is from the local area and all is original (not reproduction) conditional. All of the vehicles are in going condition & driven by the owners - many of them have been restored by Francis Pointon who has a vast knowledge & passion for cars.
The collection was opened to the public in 1993 & all visitors are taken on a tour by the owners/operators of this complex, which could take an hour. The complex includes the main museum building, plus associated buildings, salvage yard, gardens & craft shop.
