Not the usual tourist caves. The wild caves of Mole Creek, famous to speleologists, are at the edge of the Tasmania Wilderness World Heritage Area and kooparoona niara/ Great Western Tiers, in central north Tasmania. Caving trips are half day $130 p.p. or full day $260 p.p. in small groups. Trips may include adventure or taking it easy, glow-worms, rare Gondwanan fauna, photography, expert environmental interpretation and gourmet picnic lunch in the World Heritage Area. Group trips may include abseiling into a cave (extra cost on application).
