Château du Taillan is a family place since 1896. It was bought by Henri Cruse and today, the 5 sisters of the fifth generation are owners.
This property is situated at 12 km from Bordeaux, just at the doors of Médoc area. It is one of the most beautiful winery in Gironde.
The castle dates back from XVIIIth century, with a classic style from Bordeaux and there are old underground cellars dating from XVIth century.

Château du Taillan produces a "Cru Bourgeois" red wine, certified each year for the quality of wine making. This wine is made with a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc according to the traditional method from Bordeaux.

It produced also a dry white wine and a rosé wine.

Château du Taillan opens its doors to visitors who want to discover a family winery. It's possible to have a tour of the cellars with a tasting of wines on booking.
