Samonas is a peaceful picturesque village which still preserves its authentic character since is really small and quiet and has very few inhabitants. During night hours, thousands of stars will magnetize your eyes. And at day musical sounds, vivid colours and perfumes, captivating scents, pure flavours and the close touch with nature will awaken all your senses and their remembrance will remain unforgettable. Here you will experience unique moments of relaxation and complete tranquillity in an authentically traditional area, without missing any of the comforts of the modern way of living, which we have quietly incorporated in all our dwellings.
All our Villas are two-storey (maisonettes) with unlimited view to the mountains, valley and the sea. They are exclusively built in stone and wood to match their surroundings. Each is built at a different level due to the ground’s steep slope, with common courtyards as well as independent verandas or balconies and quiet corners.
Each has two main entrances with traditional rustic locks and big iron keys. They are decorated with many small folklore objects and antiques. All incorporate the same comforts and luxury, although they differ in size and layout.
Here you will experience unique moments of relaxation and complete tranquillity in an authentically traditional area, without missing any of the comforts of the modern way of living.

Blue villa – Mantzourana
One double bedroom maisonette of 50 m2 which may accommodate up to 4 persons. Its areas are made up of four deferent levels. It comprises a balcony and one covered veranda. It is dated since the end of 1800, while in the past served as a store room for grains, oil, and wine. One of its areas was part of the wine press which does not exist now.

Orange villa – Diktamos
One double bedroom maisonette of 60 m2 with the possibility to easily accommodate up to 4 persons. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and its two walls is natural rock under the soil. It incorporates one independent courtyard. This dwelling was built in 1913 and the ground floor in the past was used as a barn-stable, while the first floor as a weave room and elementary school.

Green villa – Faskomilia
One double bedroom maisonette of 70 m2, easily accommodating up to 4 persons. The characteristics of this dwelling are the traditional wooden stove, the large chimney and the well, all found inside the house. It incorporates an indoor veranda, a large independent courtyard and has access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view. It was initially built in the mid 1800's and was used as a kitchen-dinning room while inside the well they kept cheese products and wine due to the temperature difference.

Purple villa – Malotira
One double bedroom, newly built maisonette of 75 m2 easily accommodating up to 4 persons. It is built with traditional materials and in a traditional manner and totally blends in with the natural environment. Incorporates one indoor veranda with amazing view to the valley of Apokoronas and Cretan sea, one independent courtyard and private roof garden with panoramic mountain, valley and sea view.

Red villa – Fliskouni
One double bedroom new maisonette of 80 m2, in total harmony with the area and the oldest buildings. It may accommodate up to 4 persons. The only one with canted tile roof in the bedroom, located higher than all the other dwellings. It incorporates two indoor verandas with pool, mountain, valley and sea view.
