The Anchor House Dublin is regarded as one of Dublin’s most charming City Centre Bed & Breakfasts. This former 1790′s home is located within a few minutes walk of Dublin’s popular tourist attractions, which include Temple Bar, Grafton Street, Henry Street, Trinity College, The O2, Dublin Convention Centre, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Guinness Storehouse, Stephen’s Green, Dublin Castle, Croke Park Stadium, & the Aviva Stadium on Landsdowne Road.

Anchor House Dublin B&B is perfectly situated in the city centre, 200 metres from The Central Bus Station Tram Stop, to the rear of Gandon’s Custom House.

Use the LUAS Tram or walk to the O2 Arena, & The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from The Anchor House B&B, along the beautifully redeveloped Liffey Quays.
Anchor House Dublin is perfectly situated in Dublin City Centre, 200 metres from The Central Bus Station (Busaras) & the red line Luas stop (tram) at the rear of Gandon’s Custom House. We are only a few minutes walk to O’Connell Street.

Trinity College, The 3Arena, the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, Henry Street, are all easily reached on foot.

The Convention Centre is a short walk along the River Liffey Custom House Quays. Our B&B is very conveniently located nearby to The Convention Centre, so keep us in mind for any Conference Event which may arise.

The Bord Gais Energy Theatre is also nearby & within easy walking distance. Shops are nearby and numerous on Henry Street, & Grafton Street. All are within easy walking distance.

The River Liffey & Quays are nearby to our House. The Liffey is now a lovely place to take a walk, which is not as it once was. Our dog loves the fresh air which is now clean & plentiful along the Liffey Quays which almost at times seem to be a world away from the busy city. The River Liffey is no longer busy with noises & filth of ships being loaded & unloaded all around us here. Serenity is here now, and it is so nice to observe what now is, amongst the remains of what once was here. The shipping port of Dublin is now much further downstream of the Liffey, almost at the sea.

Our Front Desk is operated 24 hours, so early & late arrivals or departures are not a problem.
Baggage storage is always available free of charge, for late evening departures, or early morning arrivals.
