ely bar & brasserie is part of the 200 year old tobacco and wine warehouse that is the CHQ building. Today,the building today offers sleek and modern comforts, while the original stonework structure of the building ads an integral and historic feel. ely bar and brasserie is made up of two beautiful bars, serving the very best of Irish whiskey, craft beers, wine and an extensive cocktail list, as well as our main vaulted dining room serving lunch and dinner. The perfect location for groups both small and large.

We are a multi award winning establishment with an impressive corporate client list regularly hosting a number of hospitality events for companies and associations. We are also the only top quality large bar and restaurant in the IFSC, Dublin 1 area.

Award winning venue divided into a ground level atrium bar overlooking George's Dock and a converted 200 year old tobacco and wine vaulted warehouse lying below. Full of history and character, we are ideally located less than a 10 minute walk to The Convention Centre Dublin, right beside the George's dock Luas station, only a moment's walk from Connolly Train Station and Busaras, The 3arena, the AVIVA Stadium, Croke Park, the Abbey Theatre and Bord Gais Energy theatre.
The venue is divided by old stone and brick vaulted walls to convey a sense of privacy no matter the group size. Therefore, we can not only cater for small dining parties but also have the capacity for groups of any amount up to 350 guests with private and semi private areas also available.
Our venue also features 2 fully licensed bars with over 400 wines and an extensive craft beer and cocktail list
Our Chefs and suppliers work tirelessly to source fresh Irish produce for your enjoyment. With all our organic beef and pork coming from the ely family organic farm in the Burren, Co.Clare and with the lamb coming from our neighbours, the McCormacks. Our conventional beef comes from fifth generation farmer and second generation butcher Danny Coogan in Trim, Co.Meath.
Group menus are available at different price points to suit all requirements and can be individually tailored to suit budget and taste.
