The Source Arts Centre is a state of the art venue for the people of Thurles and County Tipperary. The award winning design comprises a 250 seat auditorium, visual art gallery, community studio space and café/bar. We are very happy to share the building with Thurles Library and Thurles Leisure Centre is located next door.
Whether you are a local returning to The Source regularly or a visitor coming to experience fantastic theatre, film, art, music, dance or children’s shows in this entertainment venue for the first time, we welcome you. We want your visit to our arts space to be a very enjoyable and entertaining one.
The Source Arts Centre aims to provide the people of Tipperary and its hinterlands with a cultural facility offering an engaging and diverse programme of events across many art forms. Alongside the presentation of professional, new and innovative work, and its commitment to developing a broad audience for the arts, The Source also has an open door policy to regional groups, encouraging interaction in the life of the centre through a variety of activities.
