SERGE GAGNÉ, EXECUTIVE CHEF
Born in Quebec City, Serge Gagné is surely the most Italian of non-Italians! An epicurean by nature, Italian cuisine has been a passion for him since childhood and he admits that his heart quickens at the scent of garlic, tomato and olive oil. Serge Gagné runs on flavours, creativity and especially, on his love for his work.
Through the years, hundreds of performers coming through Quebec City have been to his restaurant again and again. Although Il Teatro opens bright and early in the morning until very late at night, its kitchen is staffed by an energetic and experienced team,always brimming with enthusiasm and vitality.
At the head of Ristorante Il Teatro’s kitchen since Le Capitole’s opening in 1992, Executive Chef Serge Gagné is without a doubt one of our main ingredients for success.
