Located within the Source, a reclaimed 1880’s refinery turned edgy new epicurean marketplace, Acorn features Chef Steven Redzikowski’s eclectic American, wood-fired cooking in an approachable, family-friendly format. To compliment the fare is Beverage Director Bryan Dayton’s ingredient-driven cocktails and selection of artisan wines and beers. The team also owns a fast-casual Rotisserie concept called Brider in Denver's LoHi neighborhood, as well as the acclaimed restaurant OAK at fourteenth in Boulder.

Like its sister restaurant in Boulder, an oak-fired oven and grill stand as the focal point and foundation for the dishes served at Acorn. Diners can choose from an assortment of shareable, seasonal dishes, as well as a selection of larger plates served family-style. Acorn also boasts an extensive list of handcrafted low and high-alcohol cocktails, artisan wines, craft beers and inventive non-alcoholic creations. Dayton pairs unique spirits with local seasonal ingredients to create his spin on classic cocktails.

Home to several of Colorado’s top local producers and restaurateurs, the Source is a gastronomic and retail mecca for the city of Denver, showcasing the growing entrepreneurial spirit of the River North district. Taking on the neighborhood’s motto, “Where Art is Made,” the 26,000-square-foot indoor space boasts the building’s original exposed brick, vaulted ceilings and concrete accents that local architect, Stephen Dynia, and developer, Kyle Zeppelin, bring to life with metal and aluminum beams, giving the space an industrial, yet modern ethos.

Situated at the front right entrance of the Source, Acorn features two glass garage doors that open along the height of the entire bi-level restaurant and onto a 35-seat outdoor patio. Chef’s oak-fired oven and grill radiate warmth throughout the entire dining room. In addition to the main floor dining room, guests can take a seat at the 15-seat bar opposite the open kitchen, or be led up a discrete staircase to a 30-seat mezzanine-level dining space which overlooks the kitchen and chef’s counter. Cement and graffiti accents, and Emeco seating made from recycled Coca Cola bottles give the space an urban, eclectic feel - while the marble tabletops, large banquettes and stylish lighting gives the restaurant a sense of elegance. The upstairs dining space is also available for semi-private events.
