The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is the largest of its kind in the world. It is HO scale and is built off of one mans dream layout that is 5,500 square feet and has a mainline that is 1,353 feet long. Our mission is to provide a model railroading experience that educates, inspires and brings joy to all ages. We do have an eye spy game to play during your visit, you can look for miniature items as well as historical artifacts in our layout and around the museum which can be turned in for prizes when completed. A visit can last anywhere from one hour to an hour and a half, sometimes even longer depending on your own enjoyment.
