Guided Jeep tours to the historic Crystal Mill and the surrounding wilderness area. The road was built in the late 1800's by miners, and may be as rough now as it was back then. We offer 3-hour, 5-hour and 7-hour tours. Our guides will tell you about the mining history of the area, it's geography, geology, sites, characters and maybe the names of a few flowers. There are no guarantees, but you might see deer, bear, elk, eagle or hawk. And most certainly chipmunks and marmots. In the summer the wild flowers are magnificent, and in the fall the colors are mind-bending.

The Crystal Mill is considered the most photographed historic site in the state, and ranked in the top 5 nationwide. And the upper Crystal River Valley is considered the most photogenic in Colorado during the Fall season. Bring your camera with plenty of battery and memory.

We also offer drop-off/pick-up services to trailheads leading into the Snowmass-Maroon Bells wilderness area.
