A boater's paradise, this large irrigation reservoir offers great coves and fingers to explore during the spring and summer months. Anglers, boaters and water skiers enjoy the water all day, while land lovers hike, bike, or picnic.
During the fall and winter months, hunting is the main attraction. Archery deer, small game, and waterfowl hunting are allowed in designated areas of the park. Archery and shotgun loaded with birdshot are the only legal methods of take. Site in your bow with our Archery Range ( included with your Park Pass), with 11 Stations with 18 targets including 3 site in targets at 20, 30,and 40 yards. Two platforms simulate shooting from a tree stand and natural landscape allows you to practice in real hunting conditions.
Three campgrounds are available during the summer season. Chimney View is our non-electric campground, Elks is our 30 Amp campground, and Inlet Grove is our 50 Amp campground (30 Amp available as well). Two Camper Services buildings service the campgrounds during the summer months with flush toilets, coin operated showers and laundry, and an indoor common area. Water spigots are available in all campgrounds and two dump stations service the campgrounds. Elks Campground is open year long with the Elks dump station and water spigots also available year round.
