Danbury Railway Museum is located in the historic 1903 Union Station in Danbury, CT, and adjacent 10 acre railyard. Along with artifacts and exhibits in the station building, our rolling stock consists of over 60 pieces of equipment, including a 1907 Boston & Maine 2-6-0 steam engine, a restored 1910 Pennsylvania Railroad Baggage and Railway Post Office Car, and the Tonawanda Valley Observation Car (1928) which was one of the last cars used on the New York Central 20th Century Limited. You can also find one of the last remaining operating turntables in Connecticut. Guided tours through the railyard are available most weekdays.

Rides through the railyard (including a ride on the turntable) are available on weekends from April through November, and several special events are held throughout the year (Easter Bunny, Pumpkin Patch, Santa, Danbury Railway Days, and Owney Day.)

The Museum contains a Research and Reference Library which is open by appointment.

The Museum is a 501C3 corporation staffed solely by volunteers.
