Ready to drive a race car? Test your skills at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Take over the driver's seat for the thrill of a lifetime. Your Rookie Experience provides 8 laps around the track in a 600 horsepower NASCAR style race car.
What to Expect
Complete your next Las Vegas vacation by riding in a 600HP NASCAR style race car. The Richard Petty Driving Experience is where adults get their turn to make a dream come true. There is no better memory of Vegas than roaring around the track at speeds of up to 165 MPH while your friends and family cheer you on from the pit road.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is located approximately 15 miles from “The Strip” in Las Vegas, NV and is a 1.5 mile tri-oval. It hosts multiple racing series events including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series.
The experience also includes about 25 minutes of Mechanical and Safety Instruction. Learn the ins and outs of the race car including entry and exit, shifting patterns, safety devices and more.
The final 10 minutes before your race is a Mandatory Driver’s Meeting. This is the time to go over final details, ask last-minute questions and receive the driving order. Participants will have their photo(s) taken next to a RPDE car. Then hear those famous words in Motorsports, "Drivers Start Your Engines!"

Overview
Experience the thrill of driving a real American muscle car on this experience in Las Vegas. Test the performance of some of America’s favorite muscle cars including the Dodge Hellcat, Shelby Mustang GT350, and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
What to Expect
Head to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to get in the driver's seat of some of the United States' most legendary muscle cars on the actual Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Choose 1 or all 3 of the American Muscle Cars and test your nerves while you try and achieve a top speed of 140MPH in this "Chase follow format". Drive these cars how they were designed by Detroit to be driven.. with 600+ horsepower per car you are in for a thrill!
