We have half day, full day and multi-day adventures. Los Rios has something for everyone. Come join us on the Taos Box our premier whitewater adventure, with 17 miles of intense, challenging rapids crashing through the most awe-inspiring part of the Rio Grande Gorge. The Taos Box is the ultimate whitewater adventure for thrill seekers.
Too much. We also have half days. Join us on the Racecourse. Two to three hours of Class 2 and 3 rapids, a rollercoaster ride of whitewater thrills. A perfect family adventure at most water levels, the Racecourse is a suitable whitewater raft trip for first-time rafters. At super-high levels, the last rapid of the Racecourse is one of the biggest on the Rio Grande!
The Orilla Verde a mellow and scenic trip, perfect for small children, seniors, and those who just want to relax on the river. Placid waters glide along past towering bluffs and buttes. Swallows skim the surface and dart past the raft in a dazzling display of avian acrobatics. Indian petroglyphs too.
Looking for beautiful scenery. Check out the beautiful Chama river. The Chama is one of America's most beautiful Wild and Scenic Rivers. This magnificent sandstone canyon, with its fantastic rock formations, was made famous by the painter Georgia O'Keeffe, who lived nearby. The Chama can be done as a Full Day or Mulit-day. We also offer overnights one The Rio Grande.
Check out our multi-sport adventures. Split the day between rock climbing and rafting, horseback riding and rafting or pedal biking and rafting.
Funyak it! Try paddling your own inflatable one-person or two-person miniature raft, accompanied by a guide. Also, known as duckies, funyaks are stable and easy to maneuver. You will get a comprehensive lesson at the beginning of the trip.
