The Clearwater, America's Environmental Flagship, sails the Hudson River hosting public sails and innovative onboard educational programs. The Clearwater Festival - Great Hudson River Revival takes place every June at Croton Point Park offering several stages of musical performances, public sails, exhibits and activities.
Founded by folk musician and activist Pete Seeger over 50 years ago, Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. has been at the forefront of the environmental movement as champion of the Hudson River, working to pass landmark legislation like the Clean Water Act, and providing innovative educational programs, environmental advocacy, and musical celebrations.
