There's an awful stereotype that New Yorkers are rude and often in a hurry. Nice Guy Tours aims to crush that cliche. We are a walking food tour in the best city in the world with two tour choices: the Lower East Side and Greenwich Village. As your smile-two-Manhattan-blocks-wide tour guide (founder Dante Mercadante) walks you around the city, you'll be treated to mouthfuls of the city's finest foods. "Walk. Talk. Eat. Repeat." That's our motto, and we promise you this you'll learn something, eat something, and enjoy everything.

Dante is a lifelong New Yorker born and raised in Yonkers. He has been a licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide since 2012 and launched Nice Guy Tours in 2014. With experience as a stand-up comedian and actor, Dante says he really feels like he's found his calling as a tour guide.

"Prior to having this job, when people would say 'I really love my job', I didn't believe them or think it was possible. Now, I look forward to work every day. I get great joy out of guiding locals and out of towners alike through the streets of NYC."
