Bent Creek Lodge has the best of both worlds being only 10 miles from the center of Asheville yet nestled in a forested triangle between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the French Broad River. The lodge feels like a remote mountain get-a-way. You can hike secluded trails out your room door; within a half mile you can start your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the North Carolina Arboretum or launch a canoe on the French Broad River to float by the Biltmore Estate . Yet it is only a short 15 minute drive to the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops in downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village plus the entrance to the Biltmore Estate.
The Lodge itself is warm and inviting with all the comforts and amenities you would expect in a recently built inn. You can stay connected with WiFi throughout the lodge and also enjoy the romantic beauty of a flickering fire in the great room or the solitude on one of the large decks overlooking the mountains and the beautiful gardens filled with blooms, birds and butterflies. The ten distinctively decorated guest rooms are inviting with well-appointed baths, and amazingly comfortable beds.
You will be treated royally while you are there. Owners Doug and Jodee Sellers and their staff know the area well and are delighted to help you plan each day’s adventures. You will start with a scrumptious breakfast, which many consider the highlight of their stay, and return to delicious home cooked snacks in the afternoon. From special diets to ADA accessibility they are prepared to take care of all your needs.
