Access is via the A1081 between Luton and Harpenden. There is no access via the Luton Hoo Hotel. Take West Hyde Road/Newmill End turning, turn left after 100 yards and enter through the black gates along lime avenue.
Open Wednesdays continue to the end of September open 1030-1530 - entry £5 includes guided tour. Come and see this fascinating volunteer run revival project. Our gardeners and conservationists are at work on Wednesdays so please stop and have a chat with them.

Shooting Lodge Cafe offers refreshments and light lunches and is found by walking through the Woodland Walk - an atmospheric area where your imagination can run riot when you glance at the fallen trees and logs. Children in particular find this fascinating and there are quizzes ot occupy then in the garden itself. Younger children are very welcome in pushchairs or just to toddle around. Children's workshops are held during the summer holidays every Thursday from 10-12 noon.
The shop selling fresh produce and plants from the garden is located amongst the back sheds which illustrate how the garden worked in the past with its potting shed, with World War II graffiti, head gardener's offie and mess room. Luton Hoo honey is also available.
