Golf
Sonning’s original layout was designed by JH Taylor with later input from Harry Colt. The course measures 6,329 yards and has a par of 70 and a SSS of 71. It generally plays longer than its yardage due to the elevation of several greens and fairways and although originally a heath land course, there is now an abundance of mature trees and shrubs that line its fairways.

Our professional team of staff will make sure you are completely satisfied with all the arrangements and that everything is just perfect on your special day.

Business & Events
The Club’s relaxed atmosphere provides an ideal venue for any conference or meeting. A member of our Conference Team will greet you on arrival and ensure your day runs smoothly. Our Conference suites are well appointed and furnished. Rooms may be booked independently or combined to provide seating capacity of up to 140 guests.

SUNDAY LUNCH
Food as well as golf plays a big part at Sonning Golf Club and if you have not yet been for a Sunday lunch then you are missing a real treat. We serve traditional roast dinners using locally sourced produce that are better than any carvery you care to mention!

We also provide some excellent alternative dishes on every menu so there is always something for everyone. Our Head Chef, Clive Trusler has bags of experience and enthusiasm and his kitchen delivers great food that is beautifully cooked and packed with flavour!
