Berkshire's dynamic contribution to aviation history is graphically re-captured at the museum. Run as a charitable trust, the museum is at the historic site of Woodley Airfield, near Reading, U.K. - once the centre of a thriving aircraft industry. Miles, Handley Page and Fairey Aviation aircraft built at Woodley are being re-constructed and exhibited along with fascinating pictorial records and priceless archives.

The museum is open during April to October on Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays and Bank Holidays from 10.30am to 5.00pm. In November to March it is open on Sundays (from 12 noon to 4.00pm) and Wednesdays from 10.30am to 4.00pm.

Costs of admission are £3.50 (adult), £2.50 (Children & Senior Citizens), £8.50 (2 adults and up to 3 children)

The museum welcomes group visits and runs an active educational programme for schools, linked to National Curriculum requirements, demonstrating the development of aviation techniques.
