A 16th century working cornmill with award winning tearoom situated just 300m from Hele Bay, Ilfracombe in North Devon. Winner of the Devon Life "Best Tearoom" award 2013, 2014, and 2015. We bake a variety of cakes and scones on the premises, many using the flour milled in the cornmill.

In addition to our selection of cakes, we offer a variety of cream teas, sweet and savoury. The traditional cream tea with fruit or plain scones, with clotted cream and strawberry jam or an old fashioned 'Thunder and lightning' which is a Devonshire split served with clotted cream and either black treacle or golden syrup. Our savoury cream tea is cheese scones with cream cheese and caramelised onion marmalade.
High teas/afternoon teas. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian.

The 16th century working mill is also open for visits and tours. Here we produce wholemeal stoneground flour from locally sourced heritage wheat.
