Devon Countryside

We offer a practical, hands-on introduction to falconry to people of all ages and levels of fitness.

We have access to various beautiful countryside locations in North Devon and Somerset where we can teach you how to fly one of our Harris Hawks. You will learn to send her off to soar above you, or into a distant tree, and ,( more importantly ! ), how to get her back to land on your fist.

You can learn as much as you like about the history and practice of falconry, how to keep and care for a bird of prey and how the birds have adapted to their environment, during your time with us. Because you are the falconer and it is your fist that the bird is sitting on, you will get closer to them than can ever be achieved at a falconry display or show.

We carry full public liability and have over ten years experience of introducing hawks to the public. Prices begin at £40 for an hour. That is the total price for a group of up to four people. Larger groups can be accomodated by arrangement. We are proud of the praise given by customers to us on Trip Advisor and urge prospective customers to take a look at what they have said about us.

We go out by appointment, any day of the week, all year round. We do not amalgamate groups together. If you book a walk at a certain time and date, your party will be the only people on the walk.
