A warm welcome awaits you at our friendly Dorset B&B. The cottage is situated in a quiet no-through lane with attractive views of the Blackmore Vale just 3-4 miles west of the famous Saxon hill top town of Shaftesbury and 2 miles from Gillingham town with the mainline railway station.
We aim to ensure your stay is perfect, from our comfortable king sized beds, good sized shower en-suite and views of the Dorset countryside. Breakfasts are served with our girls eggs , locally sourced meat and home produced ingredients, ie preserves etc...We also make homemade veggie sausages and Vegan pancakes..

Walks are as close as the cottage gate, Cycling paths from the Village, Duncliffe woods 10 mins walk away, lots and lots of National Trust properties , Shopping at Salisbury, Shaftesbury, Sherborne or perhaps visiting Sherborne Castle,Salisbury Cathedral, StourHead Gardens, Orchard Park Gardening Centre, Monkey World, Walk the Jurassic coast, Stonehenge Monument Or how about Compton Abbas Airfield,watching the flights coming and going over lunch . And so much more...

Our ethos at the cottage is to be as self suffientent as we can, we generate our own hot water and electricity, we grow our own vegetables,herbs and fruit. The garden grows on our waste. We also have a electric car charger available.
